Sizzle Dee Sipper

About The Song sizzle Dee Sipper, by Sage Suede

Sizzle Dee Sipper is the fifth track off the debut album THICC JUICY BASS. Released 06/26/2020. Sage Suede wrote this song to be flirty. The phrase “Sizzle Dee Sipper” is a sizzler- an interjection of a phrase that rolls off the tongue. Sizzle Dee Sipper has genuine feelings of sensuality and supportive love.

The music video, created by a 3-D animator, is about a woman that meditates and has spiritual experiences in an altered meditative state. She is also a hacker and rides an alligator. This video is empowering because of its strong imagery.

“I believe that good art should be interpretive and depth. Through my site, I give some insight into my thought process.

Great music has more value to a listener over time, or reveals new ideas through additional listens. This song is written poetically and in a manner similar to Shakespeare, I find that sauciness can be an asset to both intrigue & poetic integrity.”

Go Down So Smooth

About The Song Go Down So Smooth, by Sage Suede

Go Down So Smooth is the fourth track off the debut album THICC JUICY BASS. Released 06/26/2020. Sage Suede wrote this song as a light-hearted rap about bass. It is sensual in nature, as bass is often felt deeply by the listener. At the time, his cats had found a vulnerability in the boxspring to his bed and they were running around in it. He was able to resolve the issue by placing the box spring directly on the floor.

The music video was created by a 3-D animator and features two women in a playful relationship. It is meant to be a spoof of more seductive couch-themed videos and also has a bathtub, bananas & a mechanical bull.

Lyrics to Go Down So Smooth by Sage Suede

I can read her better

When she wetter

Gotta be a good lover

Go down so smooth

Knows I’m undercover

Hardcore full barrel

When she lookin at me

Go down so smooth

Ooh in the mood

And she go zoom

I can work a room

Wit a big Bang boom

They don’t get it

Imma a new head a lettuce

I can work with the shake

And I’m ballin

no hate

—-Bridge—-

Givin pleasure

They all lookin at me

I don’t need the attention

And it shouldn’t be free

Aighht

Slammin squeeze like lemons

In your favorite anime

I’m lovin on the brain

Cats livin in my boxspring

Someone get a bucket

The sweats drippin

And it’s dirtying up

the lingerie

—-/—

I can read her better

When she wetter

Gotta be a good lover

Go down so smooth

Knows I’m undercover

Hardcore full barrel

When she lookin at me

Go down so smooth

Ooh in the mood

And she go zoom

I can work a room

Wit a big Bang boom

I’m an angel unpolished

They don’t get it

Imma a new head a lettuce

I can work with the shake

And I’m ballin

no hate

Rhymed it better

A new shade a leather

They can’t even spell it

Does it ring a bell yet?

I can read her better

When she wetter

Gotta be a good lover

Go down so smooth

Knows I’m undercover

Hardcore full barrel

When she lookin at me

Go down so smooth

Ooh in the mood

And she go zoom

I can work a room

Wit a big Bang boom

Heard she blabbed

That I was tone deaf

In that catalogue

But soul star told me

I’m an angel unpolished

They don’t get it

Imma a new head a lettuce

I can work with the shake

And I’m ballin

no hate

You can look

She can stay lit

He can lay it

Gotta make and

Love it right

Think I lick a

Pull a trick uh

Hold the clicker

Don’t even have to

Switch the lights

Hotter than a microwave

We can lay in bed all day

Pucker Up For More

About The Song Pucker Up For More, by Sage Suede

Pucker Up For More is the third track off the debut album THICC JUICY BASS. Released 06/26/2020. Sage Suede wrote this song about a high-class mood. A place where there is strong bass and you feel the rhythm. This is often what is missing in popular music and Sage Suede takes this to another level through poetic language.

Lyrics to Pucker Up For More by Sage Suede

Imma let it bop

We got it on lock

Make yo head bang

And go get you dat fame

Wanted me to wet her whistle

So she went and licked my lips

Wonder how we get by

Really wanna make you mine

Thinkin bout you all the time

Wanna touch you just right

Slappin Bass Harder – Sage Suede

About The Song Slappin Bass Harder, by Sage Suede

Slappin Bass Harder is the first track off the debut album THICC JUICY BASS. Released 06/26/2020. This song was written to go with the album title and is about having a delightful time.

Due to corona, all music videos on this album were rendered in 3-D. The video tells a story of an urban community in the future. There is a girl that has several out of body experiences, including some personal encounters and smoking hookah. I do not advocate for the use of tobacco or alcohol, but good music is a reflection of the human experience. This video also adds spiritual and sci-fi elements.

Lyrics to Slappin Bass Harder by Sage Suede

Smooth slidin

Street stylin

Got da baddest

Soul status

On another level

Says we’re something special

Past all these haters mental

The place is packed

Now all the tables stacked

Like the drummin

On my tracks

Back slappin

On my

ableton rack

Gonna bring the bass back

And maybe you go clap

I’m a fine kind a dude

But I gotta be rude

Mastered laws of attraction

People lovin my fashion

Digs feel so classic

The reach is massive

It’s hard to get from A to B

Without somebody wantin

Somethin from me

Goin to the bar for

Black russians

Been heart stealin

Because I’m spreading love

For God reasons

Can’t help it that

They throbbin for my mention

Gotta keep it on lock

It’s a thirsty profession

Live life for today

And slay the pain away

Bar crawlin for shots

Play this electropop

Even if they don’t hear

I’m slappin bass harder

Than slap cup

On the underground

On another level

Says we’re something special

Past all these haters mental

The place is packed

Now all the tables stacked

Like the drummin

On my tracks

Back slappin

On my

Shows Cancelled

Planned a Lot of Surprises for Y’all…

I had a few concerts planned over the past few months but all of them got cancelled due to COVID. For some extra money on the side, I was working at Planet Fitness and that got furloughed. Probably won’t go back because I’m tired of cleaning and my new job is working remotely due to the epidemic.

This hasn’t stopped me from planning ahead for Sage Suede. However, due to the virus I had a lot of great performances cancelled, like this one with vodka snowcones.

Even planned it myself with the hosts, found a few artists for the line-up and designed the poster. *sigh*

Was also planning to share THICC JUICY BASS at Thicket Food Park. It’s a food truck park in South Austin, and how could I not share my thicc bass at thicket?
Guess I can’t now, but maybe when they re-open and the music industry returns from hibernation.

New Album – THICC JUICY BASS

The new album by Sage Suede is coming out in June. The first single is scheduled for this Friday- May 1st.

THICC JUICY BASS will be released on June 26th, 2020.

It’s a Big Bass Deal

THICC JUICY BASS is a pleasant experience that will take you on a journey around the world, through various musical styles. I still maintain my experimental roots and originality, having created all songs on my own. Self-produced and cooked from scratch, seasoned to taste with my spunk.

No two songs sound the same. There is more variety than you will hear on almost any album nowadays.

All of the production, lyrics, editing, etc was done by yours truly as usual.

New Single = Masterpiece

Can’t wait to share the new music videos with you!

I’m planning to release the music video for Masterpiece, sometime tomorrow. Although I designed all of the covers for singles and this album, the 3D music videos were created by Neuro Plastic Studios.

Wanted to do a physical music video where I dance and be cool with people, but no one is showing up to anything anymore. Too bad there weren’t any shows in March or April due to the virus. I really hope that y’all will be in touch when the world has time to heal.

Stay tuned for new music this week. 🙂

Soft Serve Chillin Music Video

ElectroPapi is available for streaming:

New Music Video: Soft Serve Chillin

I created this music video with Travis Ward on camera and everyone’s fav belly dancer, Devin Alfather. The concept was created by me, in order to be fun, sensual and combat serious societal issues. As an egalitarian, I chose to use a storied metaphor to create discussion around societal issues, such as bisexual visibility, sexual discrimination and gender roles. Sexual discrimination causes queers to be treated as inhuman and this is represented symbolically through my transformation into a cat. This can also be interpreted as a transference of gender roles.

This video is not meant to be illuminati or whatever. We recorded some scenes with a cage and a red X, but that was for the visual range of color and to provide an intriguing ending, in order to provoke thought. The song lyrics are spiritually uplifting and about romance. We filmed most of the outro scenes at a popular club in Austin and their dungeon seemed appropriate for the ending. We also visited Amy’s ice cream, did a sexy photoshoot sequence and danced at the club. You’ll even see my cats in the video :).

It has over 13k views already – check it out!

Sage Suede – Soft Serve Chillin Lyrics

When we’re done with kissin
I’m just here to listen
wanna stroke your hair
and treat you like my kitten

Wanna spoon with me
wanna feel me rhthm
with my arms around you
soft serve chillin

when we’re done with kissin
I’m just here to listen
wanna lose the time
with you in heaven

come dance with me
and feel the passion
stretched on the beat with the waves crashin

aight

you want me to be your boyfriend
we can talk in tongues
when we feel the love

I’m swervin onto your block
to take you out
my mission

ain’t no other
that I’ll be kissin
my mission
I seen it in a vision

(Gotta gotta love you like)x2
no other has been given))x2

My mission
I’ve seen you in a vision
the mood feels right
I’ll be your guy
deep feelin
my realest

The mood feels right
I’ll be your guy
deep feelin
my realest

When we’re done with kissin
I’m just here to listen
wanna stroke your hair
and treat you like my kitten

Wanna spoon with me
wanna feel me rhthm
with my arms around you
soft serve chillin

when we’re done with kissin
I’m just here to listen
wanna lose the time
with you in heaven

come dance with me
and feel the passion
stretched on the beat with the waves crashin

ahh yeah you bring me so much passion
(Gotta gotta love you like)x2
no other has been given))x2

Deep feelin
my realest

“I chose to reverse gender roles, with the transference of the ears and some of my outfits. Although the beginning of the video starts as a campy romance, the ending is symbolic of homophobia. There are also conceptual elements regarding patriarchy. Sexual discrimination does cause some to be treated as inhuman and this video also has bisexual visibility. Devin did amazing in this role and we kept it fun while breaking down societal barriers to human rights.”

Un Photo de Toi Nu

Recap for new visitors: I started my website in 2015 and released DIAMONDBACK Demo in 2017. DIAMONDBACK Demo was recorded in Northeastern’s Snell Library and with an iPhone, while I attended classes full time. Later, I released a compilation of free tracks on my website called 2018 Freebies Bangers. It changes languages a few times. I’m a polyglot, so I change my mind a lot lol.

I released RAWR mixtape for streaming in January 2019 and I have a great EP coming in May (but more on that later).

Un Photo de Toi Nu is track #4 on RAWR – pick your streaming for the full mixtape: https://artist.landr.com/music/628810098156.

“I didn’t speak French when I wrote Un Photo de Toi Nu”

I wanted to talk about this song because I think it’s fun and quirky. I didn’t spend too much time on it, so it has a carefree vibe to it. I used a drum machine that hyped that low sounds, then I used my microkorg for higher pitches. I also recorded guitar. I want my music to have it’s own unique sound and as a result, I have trouble keeping my sound in one genre lol.

Lately, I have been forming my sound. ElectroPapi EP will be a great
representation of that and I love hearing the more experimental electro alt pop on RAWR mixtape.

“So how did you write it?”

I didn’t speak French back then, but I understood most of written French from romance languages. I was talking to a follower on Twitter in France and they kept asking me for nudes. I said no, because my artistry is too important for me to be doing that, but they still insisted.

I didn’t want them to be upset and I liked the way some of their French messages sounded. “This is kind of cute,” I thought, “I could make this a song.” I added a few lines with Google Translate and now that I am learning a little French from a Scottish podcast, I feel a little embarrassed with just a tad bit of the pronunciation (mostly just when I say “le”). My French followers seem to enjoy this song though. It is quirky and has that je ne sais pas.

As a polyglot, I find it very interesting that the lyrics of Un Photo de Toi Nu sound cute in French, but are more practical with an English connotation. You need look no further than the title of the song than to understand this.

Un Photo de Toi Nu = Nudes (nude photos)

So like it sounds way cuter in French to ask someone for nudes. Next time you hit up your crush, try sending them this song 😉

Experimental Vocals & Electro Beats

When I Started Sage Suede, My Vision was Rough & Edgy

I was just a kid in college, learning to create music on my own. I made beats starting in middle school, but wasn’t amazing at it. It took a lot of trial and error, which has led me to improve substantially over the years. I had a lot of musical experience from playing instruments as a kid, but I wasn’t an expert on any of the instruments I played. I also started creating poetry at a young age. I thought that I wanted to be rough, yet smooth and that’s why I chose Suede as my last name.

Acoustic & Electronic Tracks

I started writing many of the tracks on DIAMONDBACK Demo, using an acoustic guitar. A few of the songs, such as Bird Girl, Cleopatra, and How Can I, were later made into electro-alternative tracks. Others were created entirely electronically; I started with electronic beats and then I added vocals with an iPhone.

Not all of them were created with the same amount of care and polish. I rushed to finish the demo by an arbitrary deadline and some tracks probably should have been excluded. It’s rare to ever hear a demo that spans 13 tracks or has so much variety. On 2018 Freebies & Bangers, I tried to release as many tracks as I could. However, a lot of people still haven’t heard my music and switching languages so many times on one release is confusing.

I decided to release a new compilation, just to showcase the best tracks from DIAMONDBACK Demo and 2018 Freebies & Bangers. It is called RAWR and all of the tracks were chosen by my fans. They are so smart and I really appreciate their help!

My New Release RAWR

I have already submitted this track for distribution but copyright for the tracks on DIAMONDBACK Demo has slowed down the process. RAWR will be in all music stores soon. I am not taking down the free releases on my website either!

Vocal Experimentation

When I started out, I didn’t have much vocal experience at all. I even started doing musical theatre for some free vocal training. I enjoyed performing in musical theatre and the people I met, but a lot of the music made me gag. I love rock music, so generally I avoid the cheesier, artificial happiness of many musical numbers (no offense). I actually dropped out of a musical production because of it, Sorry Julia.

Me, being cheesy:

Mumble Rap & Rock Vocals

I don’t consider myself to be a rapper, but as a lyrical poet, I did talk over several of my earlier tracks. I was given feedback by some that it was under-whelming, but I created several tracks with the intention of sounding apathetic. The old Sage Suede, was trying to create music that was still rough around the edges; I wanted to be punky and I don’t like to sound boring, so a bit weird too. I have been influenced by shoe-gaze and mumble rappers started becoming a popular thing while I was working on the demo, so a few of the tracks sound like apathetic raps. I later realized that this wasn’t the best sound for me. I love hip hop and rap, so both genres continue to influence me a lot, but they aren’t a great description of my sound. I like to use some of the vocals I learned through musical theatre, but with a rougher style.

Somewhat during DIAMONDBACK and also afterwards, I started with rock vocals,. The roughest were in “At Mo Power.” I yelled a little too much in that song, but it also helped me to push the envelope and add a little more aggression in my vocals. This was a bigger step in the direction of learning rock vocals, but it also taught me when my voice was too aggressive.

On some of the early versions of ElectroPapi EP, I even did a low heavy metal growl, but I’ve decided not to include that in the final version, because it scared a few of the sensitive acoustic artists at an open mic that I performed at. Kind of pathetic for people to be scared of hard rock vocals, I know, but I still want them to listen to my music.

As a result, my current vocal style is essentially a form of alt rock, but nothing too strong like heavy metal. I hope that people will appreciate my voice some day. I have never wanted to sound like anyone else and I’m constantly throwing myself into the cold (so to speak), in order to improve myself as a musician and break new ground at the same time.

Why Are There So Many Languages?

I love learning foreign languages and some of that poetry came about, while I was in classes learning those languages. Because I started college as a sophomore with 32 credit hours, I had room in my schedule to pursue my love of foreign languages outside of classwork. I am going to move away from creating so many foreign language tracks in the future, simply because it isn’t practical. I still live in the USA, so initially, I will need to focus on English and Spanish. I still plan to make songs in other languages in the coming years, definitely in Portuguese too. Please let me know which languages you are interested in.

No One Is Helping Me With Anything

In the modern music industry, you have to form your sound and crowd, before anyone will consider you for a label. You can pay a producer to get your sound to that level, but honestly, I can’t afford it. I went to college to have a modest income, that barely sustains my rent and certainly doesn’t leave room for excessive music costs. A professional music producer will easily cost you $500 or more per song. Countless artists have created their entire careers with quality producers, when they lacked any musical talent to get there on their own.

I am the opposite of a trust fund baby. I’m still working towards my goals, entirely of my own merit. I had a lot of mistakes along the way and chose to be experimental starting out. I am starting to form my own unique sound, as a result of taking so many risks. I look forward to sharing it with everyone.

What Genre is Sage Suede?

I would classify Myself as Electro-rock or Electro-pop. I have changed my style a lot over the past few years but I am finally starting to find a sound that makes me happy and fits my personal style. You will hear the fruits of my labor in ElectroPapi EP.

ElectroPapi EP is Well on Its Way

I am currently reviewing the lyrics in ElectroPapi EP, to make sure everything is the best that it can possibly be! I have improved monumentally on audio editing and I know that ElectroPapi EP will be mind-blowing, when it’s finally completed.

I can’t wait to share my hard work with everyone! Thanks for following me.
